Born and raised along the river in Mattawa, Loren is a dedicated advocate for the Nipissing district and a lifelong resident of Mattawa. He has worked as a chef in his family’s restaurant and served the community as a dietary aid at the local nursing home. His passion for helping others led him to pursue a Master’s in Counseling Psychology, with a focus on improving access to mental health care.
Loren has been elected twice to Mattawa Town Council, where he has consistently fought for better opportunities and services for the community. He also serves as the chair of the Mattawa Library Board, vice-chair of the North Bay Mattawa Conservation Authority Board, and vice-chair of the Dreamcoat Fantasy Children’s Theater Board of Directors. These roles reflect his deep commitment to building a brighter future for everyone in the region.
Passionate about music, mental health, and tackling homelessness and addictions, Loren is a tireless advocate for equitable and effective solutions to these challenges. His vision is rooted in fairness, community well-being, and ensuring every resident of Nipissing has a voice.
